Study sounds climate warning

LONDON - A new study has found that there is a 40% chance of at least one year being 1.5C hotter than the pre-industrial level by 2025 - the lower of two temperature limits set by the Paris Agreement on climate change.

Responding to the study by the World Meteorological Organization, the UN said that the world is drawing “inexorably closer” to its global warming limits.
