Kuala Lumpur - Malaysian authorities have freed over 100 foreign women who were believed to be controlled by locals to work as maids illegally in the country, officials said today. The women, aged between 18 and 25 years, were found in a four- storey building housing a maid agency in the port city of Klang following an early morning raid by immigration officers on Saturday. Initial investigation showed the rescued women, including 95 Indonesians, six Filipinos and four Cambodians, were promised other jobs but ended up as maids, said Amran Ahmad, head of local immigration department.
