RIYADH - Cristiano Ronaldo has made history yet another time as he is now the first-ever football player to become the top scorer in four different countries.

For his team Al Nassr in the Saudi Premier League (SPL), the 39-year-old secured this success by scoring two goals and turned out to be the top scorer of the SPL with 35 goals in 31 matches.

Ronaldo is now a top player in four different leagues in four different countries following this record.

The five time Ballon d’Or winner wrote in a post: "Proud to make history as the first top scorer in 4 countries [England, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia flags]. A huge thank you to all the clubs, teammates and staff who helped me along the way."

Ronaldo was the top player in the Premier League (2007- 2008) while playing for Manchester United. He scored 31 goals in 34 games.
The second time, by scoring 40 goals in 34 games for Real Madrid (2010- 2011) he won the Golden Boot. Additionally, he once again achieved the same feat with 31 goals in 30 matches during the season 2013- 2014.

After scoring 29 goals in 33 games, Ronaldo made a hat-trick of scoring most of becoming the top scorer for Juventus in Serie A.
