BEIRUT - Five medics were killed in Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon on Friday, the Lebanese health ministry said. The ministry said three medics were killed and three others wounded in an Israeli strike on the southern Lebanese town of Qotrani.
An earlier Israeli strike on a vehicle had killed two medics in the town of Deir Qanoun Ras Al Ain in southern Lebanon, the ministry had said. Israel sent ground forces into south Lebanon on October 1 as part of its stepped-up offensive against Hezbollah.
