NEW YORK - Thursday morning, Israeli forces raided the offices of seven prominent Palestinian civil organizations in the occupied West Bank, reports Human Rights Watch.

This attack comes nearly a year after the Israeli government wrongly labelled the organizations as terrorist groups - a move that was internationally criticized, including by the UN, many countries and numerous rights groups around the world.

After yesterday's raid, diplomatic missions from 17 countries expressed their criticism of this assault on the human right movement.

Israel's alarming escalation stems from decades-long failure of the international community to challenge Israeli apartheid, concludes Human Rights Watch.
