Ljubljana - Slovenia will respect the arrest warrants issued by the ICC for Israel’s prime minister and former defence minister, as well as for a Hamas leader, Prime Minister Robert Golob said.
Mr Golob said his country would “fully comply” with the court’s decision, news agency STA reported.
Slovenia is the latest European Union country to recognise an independent Palestinian state. In an exclusive interview with The National in May, Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon defended her country's decision to recognise Palestine and called for international pressure on the Israeli government to end the war in Gaza.
