BRUSSELS - More than 1,000 MPs from across Europe have added their names to a letter strongly opposing plans by Israel to annex parts of the West Bank.
In the letter, they express “serious concerns” and call for “commensurate consequences”.
Under a power-sharing deal which led to the formation of the current Israeli government, annexation can be put to a vote from 1 July.
