BRASILIA - Colombia and Bolivia are supporting Brazil amidst its growing diplomatic conflict with Israel, following President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's allegations of genocide in Gaza by Israel, likening the situation to the Holocaust.

Both Gustavo Petro of Colombia and Luis Arce of Bolivia have voiced their "solidarity" with Lula on Tuesday. This comes in the wake of Israel's strong criticism of Lula for labeling its military operations in Gaza as a “genocide” of Palestinians and drawing parallels to Adolf Hitler's efforts to annihilate the Jewish population during the Holocaust.
