LONDON - The chairman and chief executive of Tesla and X Elon Musk has warned that artificial intelligence (AI) poses "one of the biggest threats" to humanity.

The tech entrepreneur's fears were "echoed" by delegates from around the world at the United Kingdon’s AI Safety Summit at Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire yesterday.

Musk had told reporters he believed AI was an "existential risk: because humans for the first time were faced with something that is going to be far more intelligent than us".
