NEW YORK - US special forces  are helping  Saudi Arabia to destroy ballistic missiles used by Houthi rebels to attack the Saudi capital, Riyadh, the New York Times has reported.
The newspaper, citing unnamed US officials and European diplomats, said  that the soldiers were sent  in December last year.
They arrived weeks after a ballistic missile from Yemen came close to Riyadh, according to the report.
The report said the special forces were also training Saudi troops to secure their border. (FA)
