ISTANBUL - An explosive device hit a police bus in the southern Turkish province of Adana on Wednesday morning, injuring four civilians and a policeman, local media reported.

Adana Governor Mahmut Demirtas said the condition of the wounded was not critical, according to Turkish newspaper Daily Sabah.

A large number of security forces were examining the scene after sealing off the area. It is not clear who is responsible for the attack.

An initial assessment suggested that several vehicles and buildings nearby were also damaged.(FA)
