FLORIDA, United States - A daycare worker is facing child neglect charges after four toddlers under her care suffered broken legs on the same day. Christina Marie
Curtis, 25, was arrested over alleged incidents at Kids Discovery Learning Centre.

Four boys aged between 13 and 21 months had no issues on the morning of May 21 but later were unable to stand or walk. Medics say they all suffered from
fractured legs, but it is not known how they were injured.

One of the boy’s mums, Terika Graham, told News Herald she asked Curtis to keep her son inside because he had a rash. But she says she found ‘dirt all in his hair’
and thinks Curtis might have let him crawl around outside the centre in Valparaiso, Florida.

CCTV footage shows Curtis walking with an 18-month-old boy while holding his hands above his head. According to an arrest report, she then ‘rapidly jerked him into
the air’ before dumping him feet first into a wagon.

The wagon was then filled with other children and pulled outside, the News Herald reported.

After the 18-month-old boy woke up from a nap inside the wagon, he was unable to put weight on his legs. A teacher reportedly told Curtis to contact the daycare
centre’s front desk several times about the injury.

The defendant is not allowed contact with any children and cannot go anywhere near any schools or child facilities while she is out on bail. Curtis, of Fort Walton
Beach, Florida, is awaiting trial for four counts of child neglect that resulted in greater bodily harm.(FA)
